Chigwell’s beloved trio are back as the festive season arrives in Essex in the Birds of a Feather Christmas Special.
The much-loved-Bafta nominated comedy series began almost thirty years ago. The show started with Sharon (Pauline Quirke) moving in with her much wealthier sister Tracey (Linda Robson) after both their husbands have been sent to prison for armed robbery.
They become close to their next door neighbour Dorien Green (Lesley Joseph, pictured), a middle-aged married woman who has a string of affairs with younger men – and later details all of her exploits in a racy novel. In more recent episodes, the three women have moved in together and are sharing Tracey’s house.
In this special Christmas episode, Tracey has got big plans that could upset the festive harmony in the house. Sharon has discovered a novel way of doing her Christmas shopping and Dorien has got a mystery to solve. What could possibly go wrong for the ladies this festive season?
