PayPal Hangs VPN Providers Out To Dry

The Netflix war against VPN providers is just getting started.

The US internet streaming service has now struck a major blow to the net neutrality sector in collaboration with payment provider PayPal.  This is because they are removing payment services to companies selling VPN services with immediate effect. This isnt good for either the VPN providers or their customers.  It also means customers subscriptions will be cancelled and will need reactivated.

Paypal VPN for Netflix

Netflix has successfully blocked hundreds of VPN networks from accessing its streaming services over the past few months. Because they have taken these measures this has clearly shown Netflix are a company without any consideration for privacy, security and net neutrality.

Liberty Shield (Scothosts Ltd / UK Proxy Server) was emailed on 10th August 2016 by the popular payment provider.  They advised us that they were limiting our use of their service. Also stating that we would no longer be able to take new or reoccurring payments via their service. Furthermore there is no way to appeal this decision.

Paypal & Netflix versus VPNs

Whilst you would imagine payment providers would seek to remain neutral. Also, it seems the Hollywood cartel have had a gruelling war with P2P services. Consequently they have now turned their wrath to any service that may even potentially reduce their global control of the entertainment market.
