Premier League VPN 20-21 Season – Match Week 25 Preview with Liberty Shield VPN

It’s time to polish the trophy and prepare to hand it to Manchester City.  Premier League matches are shown by pay-TV broadcasters Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime and with match highlights available free on BBC Sport with Match of the Day. Need a Premier League VPN?

There may well be 14 games left in the 2020/21 season, but nobody is catching them now. They went 10 points clear after their win against Everton on Wednesday and are making it all look very easy. They’re simply on another level to everyone else, at times looking like they’re playing a different sport to everyone else.  Fun Fact: Premier League VPN is one of the most searched phrases on Google.

Our Premier League VPN articles are brought to you in partnership with EPL Index, and Dave Hendrick – host of the Two Footed Podcast, offering FREE podcasts to football fans.

Below them though, it’s all to play for. Only 10 points separates Manchester United in 2nd and Tottenham Hotspur in 9th, with Spurs having a game in hand. United and Spurs, and all those in between, will believe they have a realistic chance at a top 4 finish and a place in next season’s Champions League.

At the bottom of the table we can probably wave goodbye to Sheffield United and West Brom, but Fulham are keeping things interesting and Newcastle will be nervously glancing over their shoulder as the Cottagers creep every closer to them.

This weekend gives us fixtures that could play pivotal roles in the final destiny of teams in the Champions League race, and the relegation battle, and we’ve gone ahead, as usual, and previewed three of them for you.

The Merseyside Derby pits crisis riddled Liverpool, who’ve taken just six points from their last five games, against high flying Everton who’ve amassed an impressive six points from their last five games. Read a tabloid, go on social media or listen to talking heads on the radio and you’d be lead to believe that these were two teams in completely different veins of form but the truth is, they’ve both been terrible lately. Yes, Liverpool have lost three in a row but they’ve still taken as many points from their last five games as Everton and Manchester United.

Liverpool’s season has clearly been spoilt by injuries and they have been forced to play Jordan Henderson in central defence, and keep him there no matter how poorly he plays, because they have no other options at present. January signing Ozan Kabak has provided a massive lift in quality in the other central defensive position but until Fabinho returns the Reds will be forced to struggle by with Henderson there. Their Champions League win over RB Leipzig owed a lot to good fortune but saw Sadio Mane score a goal and play more like his normal self and Liverpool will need he and Mo Salah to be at their best this weekend.

Naby Keita is back in training and could make the bench but the Reds will be without Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Diogo Jota, Fabinho and James Milner.

Everton have had an inconsistent season that’s also suffered from some injury problems, with Allan’s absence causing them to lose their dominance in the middle of the park. Recent home defeats to Newcastle and Fulham were extremely disappointing because Everton have played like a top four team at times this season but then let themselves down in games against teams they should be expecting to beat. James Rodriguez has struggled to maintain his early season form due to a couple of niggly injuries and that has caused Carlo Ancelotti to play around with the formation.

Everton will be, as usual, be without Jean-Philippe Gbamin who’s rumoured to be about a month from returning. Yerry Mina is also ruled out but Dominic Calvert-Lewin is expected to return.

There’s always something enjoyable about a Midlands Derby between teams from different cities. There isn’t the normal level of animosity you get in a same-city Derby match and the quality of football tends to be of a higher quality. These two teams are well matched, despite the gap of 8th to 3rd in the table. Leicester may have a 10 point lead in the table, but Villa do have two games in hand. Both are currently experiencing some inconsistencies but will be very happy with their seasons to date.

With seven points from their last five games, Villa have maintained a top half position which will absolutely have been the aim this season after barely surviving last season. Jack Grealish has been the star of their season, but neither he nor Ross Barkley have performed well of late. Defensive lynchpin Ezri Konsa can make a strong argument for having been the best defender in the league over the course of 24 games so far and remains vital for a Villa team that have based their success so far this season on a solid back-line.

Given the inconsistencies of Everton and Liverpool above them, Villa know that if they could string together a couple of wins in a row they could potentially snatch a Europa League spot this season. That would go a long way towards convincing Grealish to stay and, given the level of financial backing the ownership have given Dean Smith, perhaps give Villa a chance to attract a calibre of player they weren’t expecting to this season.

Leicester have taken eight points from their last five, a five game spell that for the entire league other than Manchester City and Chelsea, has seen inconsistency galore. The Foxes did surprisingly well in the period of games that Jamie Vardy missed through injury and with him back in the team now, along with Wilf Ndidi, they will expect to string some wins together.

They suffered a massive blow when James Justin, who was having a fantastic season, tore his ACL and with Tim Castagne and Ricardo Pereira being doubts for this game they may well have to make do with Daniel Amartey and Luke Thomas flanking Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu.

ARSMCI Arsenal Manchester City Live Stream IPTV Premier League VPN

It’s fair to say that the last 15 years have not gone as well for Arsenal as they would have expected, given the success they enjoyed in the previous 15 years. There’s many reasons for that, and the rise of Manchester City is just one of them. When City became oil rich one of the teams they regularly targeted to take players from was Arsenal who were renowned for recruitment and player development at the time. Arsenal were a club that City wanted to emulate in many ways. Fast forward just over a decade from when that all began, Arsenal are now trying to emulate City and began that just over a year ago when they hired City’s assistant manager Mikel Arteta to replace Unai Emery.

It’s hasn’t all been smooth sailing for Arteta and truth be told we’re only a couple of months removed from him being talked about as a manager on the hot seat. He has turned things around though, and his decision to drop that massively disappointing Willian and switch to a 4-2-3-1 with the creative duties in the side handed over to youngsters Emile Smith Rowe and Bakayo Saka has made all the difference. Since those two became permanent fixtures in the team the calibre of football has improved massively, the results have improved massively and the form of players like Nico Pepe, Alex Lacazette and Pierre-Emile Aubameyang has improved massively. With Martin Odegaard now added to the mix, Arsenal should continue to improve and perhaps they can get back to being what they were when they were great, the Premier Leagues great entertainers.

The Champions-elect have won 12 Premier Leagues in a row, and 17 games in a row in all competitions. And they’ve done it effortlessly, playing a brand of positionless football that is stunning to witness. City line up in a 4-3-3 on paper but in game it becomes a whirling 3-Diamond-3 with players interchanging, dropping in and out of positions, shifting from wide to narrow and constantly keeping the opposition guessing. All while letting the ball do most of the work. City’s players are all technically gifted and understand that there’s no reason to take a second touch if one will do.

Kevin DeBruyne carried on his form from last season, when he was the unquestionable Footballer of the Year, with a great start to the season. Unfortunately, his team-mates didn’t start quite so well and City were inconsistent to begin with. After a very disappointing draw at home to West Brom something changed. Ilkay Gundogan, Bernado Silva, Raheem Sterling, Joao Cancelo, Rodri and Ruben Dias all took their games up a level, and even when DeBruyne got injured the machine kept rolling. Clean sheets galore, enough goals to make team fear team and truly beautiful football ensued. City will win the title this season and they will deserve it.

These are just some of the games available to you this weekend. With so many games to choose from, the worry is wasting time on the wrong game. We’ll try and guide you in the right direction so that all you need to do is sit back, turn on your Liberty Shield VPN, settle in, and enjoy the games.
