Premier League VPN 2020-21 Season – Match Week 30 Preview with Liberty Shield VPN

The Premier League returns after what felt like a three month international break. Premier League matches are shown by pay-TV broadcasters Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime and with match highlights available free on BBC Sport with Match of the Day. Need a Premier League VPN?

Naturally we should never talk about the results during that international break. Thankfully Ireland didn’t play any games so I don’t have to think or talk about the embarrassment of what have happened had they played and lost to Luxembourg Fun Fact: Premier League VPN is one of the most searched phrases on Google.

Our Premier League VPN articles are brought to you in partnership with EPL Index, and Dave Hendrick – host of the Two Footed Podcast, offering FREE podcasts to football fans.

Anyway, the Premier League. The best league in the world. It’s back and this weekend there’s a number of potentially great matches scheduled, and we’ve as always we’ve previewed three of them for you, to whet your appetite.

⚽ Leicester City vs Manchester City
📅 Saturday 3 April 2021

LEIMCI Leicester Man City VPN IPTV Streaming

In match-week 3, Leicester put five past City at the Etihad to signal their intent for the season, and to suggest that perhaps the funk City found themselves in for most of last season had not gone away. Leicester have carried that form through most of the season, but City have turned things around to a massive degree.

Leicester are the only team to have spent the entire season so far in the top four and come into this game in third place and looking certain of a place in next years Champions League. They’ve won four and drawn one of their last six so they are definitely a team in form, which is all the more impressive when you factor in their recent injuries to James Maddison, Harvey Barnes and James Justin. They looked like they may be about to experience a wobble after a home defeat to Arsenal and a draw away to Burnley but back to back wins over Brighton and Sheffield United have steadied the ship. They do face the toughest run-in of all the teams in the Champions League mix but they hold a seven point advantage over fifth placed West Ham. Surely they couldn’t collapse again like they did last season?

This weekend they’ll have to do without Barnes, Maddison, Justin and Wes Morgan but are hopeful of having Ricardo Pereira and Cengiz Under back in the mix.

City have turned the title race into a stroll, and currently hold a 14 point advantage over Manchester United at the top of the table though they have played one game more than their local rivals. Pep Guardiola has reinvented his team this year, in the absence of a recognised number 9 he has blended a mixture of attackers and midfielders that play a fantastic brand of free-flowing positionless football. Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin DeBruyne have been the unquestioned best players in the league this season with DeBruyne being the creator-in-chief and Gundogan taking on a massive share of the goalscoring burden with 12 to his name in the Premier League and 16 in all competitions, the most of any City player in either category. With the title in hand, City are eyeing a historic quadruple so they may want to get the inevitable out of the way pretty soon and make themselves mathematically unassailable at the top of the table.

Barring anyone returning from international duty with a knock, City will be at full strength this weekend.

⚽ Arsenal vs Liverpool

ARSLIV Arsenal Liverpool VPN IPTV Streaming

Two teams in very different places but experiencing equally disappointing seasons will come head to head in the late kickoff on Saturday. Funnily, the last meeting of the two teams was the last game before the wheels came off for Liverpool as the defending Champions ran out 3-1 winners at Anfield, a scoreline that massively flattered Arsenal on the night.

Arsenal are in rebuild mode. Sort of. A young, unproven manager with a lot of young, unproven, players should equate to tearing things down and building them back up. Arsenal have tried to do that, whilst also remaining competitive. They gave Aubameyang a new contract, and signed a past his sell-by date Willian to a big contract as a free agent, both of which have turned out disastrously at times. They’ve continued to play the same failed central defenders rather than trusting the highly talented young ones they spent big money on. Granit Xhaka still patrols the midfield, four years after it became clear that the Premier League wasn’t for him. The likes of Bakayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe give massive cause for optimism but Arsenal need to cut the cord on the failure of the past if they want their future to look different than their present. No matter how they try to tell the story, 9th is extremely disappointing for Arsenal Football Club.

Smith Rowe, Saka and Willian all face last fitness tests ahead of this one but Arsenal are expecting to have them back in time.

Liverpool’s season has been spoiled by injuries, though one in particularly had the biggest effect. The minute Jordan Pickford’s legs clattered into Virgil Van Dijk, Liverpool’s title defence went up in smoke. There are some players that are just irreplaceable, and Van Dijk is one of them. The Reds cobbled things together for a couple of months, with Fabinho stepping back into defence and partnering whoever happened to be fit. Joe Gomez and then Joel Matip would follow Van Dijk in being ruled out for the season and when Jordan Henderson was drafted into defence, and then Fabinho got injured, a bad dream became a farce. Liverpool sit 7th in the league, an unacceptable position for a team of their quality. They have looked lost and leaderless for much of the season, without Van Dijk there to organise and dominate. Recent results, the return from injury of Fabinho and emergence of Ozan Kabak after his loan arrival from Schalke, have given them an outside chance of finishing in the top 4 but it seems very unlikely.

Jordan Henderson has joined Matip, Gomez and Van Dijk on the sidelines, but Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi and Caoimhin Kelleher should all be back for this game.

⚽ Aston Villa vs Fulham
📅 Sunday 4 April 2021

AVLFUL Aston Villa Fulham VPN IPTV Streaming

The team who barely escaped the drop last season against the team hoping to do the same this season is the best of Sunday’s fixtures as two teams who play attractive football meet at Villa Park in the Stan Collymore Derby. Villa won the first meetings of these teams very comfortably, coming away from Craven Cottage with a 3-0 victory.

Villa have had a season of two halves. They won eight of their first 14 games this season, with Jack Grealish and Ross Barkley combining to make Villa a formidable unit. In their last 14 games however, they’ve won only four games and slipped from 5th in the table to 10th. Their slump did coincide with their Covid-19 outbreak, as well as an injury to Ross Barkley who hasn’t looked the same player since returning. Jack Grealish also suffered an injury and many talking heads pointing to that as the reason for Villa’s downturn but in truth Villa, and Grealish as an individual, had not been playing well for weeks before his injury. Villa went into the international break with just one win, and five points, from their previous six games and Dean Smith will know that he needs to turn things around quickly. Villa have very ambitious owners and a bottom half finish wouldn’t be good for Smith’s future at Villa Park.

Jack Grealish and Kourtnay Hause are expected back for the visit of Fulham, while Wesley continues to make progress in his return from an ACL tear but isn’t close to ready for first team action yet.

Fulham started the season disastrously and looked doomed until Scott Parker stumbled upon a system and starting 11 that worked. After a terrible first 11 games, they’ve had a very respectable last 19 which shouldn’t be all that surprising given the talent in their squad. Parker has relied on a strong defensive unit, led by Joachim Anderson, to get Fulham to safety and while they have made good progress as a result, they are going to need help from other teams on account of their inability to score enough goals. Thankfully for The Cottagers, Steve Bruce and Newcastle are seemingly on an unstoppable charge towards the Championship, and that may be Parker’s saving grace. Parker is an inexperienced manager who’s made a lot of mistakes this season and those mistakes are a large part of why Fulham sit 18th, rather than the 12th or 13th that would be more fitting of the squad. Fulham remain two points behind the Toon, who host Tottenham at White Hart Lane this weekend. If Villa stutter coming out of the international break the way they did going into it, this is a real opportunity for Fulham to take at least a point and narrow the gap to the Geordies.

Tom Cairney is the only Fulham player definitely missing this weekend, Bobby DeCordova-Reid and Marek Rodak are expected to be available for selection.

These are just some of the games available to you this weekend. With so many games to choose from, the worry is wasting time on the wrong game. We’ll try and guide you in the right direction so that all you need to do is sit back, turn on your Liberty Shield VPN, settle in, and enjoy the games.
